Love Streams 1984

Robert Harmon, a successful author of erotic novels, lives with his twelve-year-old son in a large house, surrounded by a crowd of casual lovers; he smokes cigarettes nonstop and is never without a bottle. When he is alone, his beloved sister Sarah comes to visit. She is on the verge of a nervous breakdown because, after her divorce, her daughter chose to live with her father. Locked away in the enormous house, the brother and sister spend entire days alone together, chatting about things both important and trivial, about what concerns them and what no longer will. One day, Sarah decides to leave, leaving Robert alone with his thoughts.
