Richard meets Annabella at a London music hall, and she asks him to hide her from the killers who are after her. Richard doesn’t take her seriously, but he lets her spend the night at his place. That same night, the girl stumbles into his bedroom with a knife in her back… As Richard flees in panic, he is mistaken for a serial killer, and police across England begin a manhunt.
