Director Yusuke is invited to direct “Uncle Vanya” for a theater festival in Hiroshima. Under the terms of the contract, he isn’t allowed to drive himself, so he’s provided with a female driver—the quiet Misaki. Spending several hours a day together, Yusuke begins to reevaluate his relationship with his wife, with whom he had seemed to be happily married until her sudden death two years ago. Meanwhile, Misaki tries to come to terms with her own complicated past.
