Crime Wave 1953

One of the attempted robberies goes wrong for three criminals who recently escaped from prison—one of them is seriously injured, and a police officer is killed. A manhunt begins in the city, and the only place the gangsters hope to hide out is the apartment of Steve Lacey, their former cellmate, who is now trying to lead a quiet family life. Naturally, Lacey immediately becomes the focus of Police Detective Sims, who doesn’t believe Lacey has gone straight.
