Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf? 1966

It’s 2:00 a.m. in New England. George is a depressed history professor married to Martha, a promiscuous woman whose father is the president of the college where George teaches. After twenty years of marriage, their relationship constantly swings between love and hate. Martha loves to compare her weak husband to her strong father, knowing that it angers her husband. The night before, they went to a faculty party, where they met two young staff members, Nick and Hani. Nick, a biology professor, considers himself a ladies’ man, while Hani, in Martha’s words, is a wallflower. The older couple invites the younger woman into their comfortable home for a farewell drink. All night long, they drink, dance, and play psychological “games.”
