White Savage 1943

The remote island of Temple in the Pacific Ocean, ruled by Princess Tahiya, is off-limits to outsiders. The natives worship the sea god Tangorua; the bottom of the pool near the temple dedicated to him is adorned with precious stones. Many white people have already paid with their lives for attempting to disturb the idol’s peace. Only a German settler in the nearby port town of Koro knows of their value.
