Buster, a small-time street photographer, becomes a documentary filmmaker in an effort to win Sally’s love, and after countless adventures, he becomes a professional. The results of his first test shots, shown on screen, are as follows: “...horses gallop backward, knocking down barriers that spring back into place on their own; beautiful naiads leap out of the water onto a diving board; an armored vehicle makes its way to the sea through the streets of New York, frightening people as it races alongside buses.”
