The Orphanage 2007

Laura spent her happiest years at an orphanage on the coast. Her beloved caregivers became like parents to her, and her friends were like brothers and sisters. Thirty years later, Laura returns to the home of her childhood with her husband and seven-year-old son, Simon. She dreams of restoring it and opening it to new young visitors. However, on the day the orphanage reopens, Simon is found to have vanished without a trace. Laura suspects that Thomas, her son’s imaginary friend—whose ghost she encountered on the day of his disappearance—is somehow involved.
