Arsenic and Old Lace 1944

Elaine’s father had good reason to object to his daughter’s marriage to Mortimer on Halloween Eve. Everything went awry right from the start. The newlyweds move into the Brewsters’ large, gloomy house in Brooklyn, not far from an old cemetery. Living in the house are Mortimer’s two sweet old aunts and a completely insane cousin who thinks he’s President Roosevelt. Suddenly, another brother shows up—a maniacal killer who has just escaped from prison. Maybe at least the old ladies are sane? Alas…
