The Thief of Bagdad 1940

In the glorious city of Baghdad, in a magnificent palace, surrounded by luxury and comfort, lived the young King Ahmet, heir to the great Sultan Harun al-Rashid. But he was unaware of his people’s problems, because standing between the king and his subjects was the Grand Vizier Jafar—a sorcerer and schemer. It was Jafar who suggested a tempting idea to the bored ruler: to disguise himself as a pauper and take an incognito tour of his native city.
